For a small fee, our customers can upgrade their software at any time. If you've not upgraded for several years, that's okay, but we recommend the annual upgrade to keep all your contracts and legal forms compliant.
When upgrading, you receive a complete set of all original contracts and forms and any new contracts or forms which may have been added to the original set. Upgrades are a completely separate set and will not interfere or override any of your previous construction software.
Our construction software Upgrade Site is completely separate from this site and only available to customers who, at some time, made an original purchase. The Web Address for the special upgrade site can be found in your original package of software forms listed as "Upgrade" or you may request a link by e-mail, providing your name and address using our Request Form.
Why a fee?
Each year, our panel of construction lawyers review all the laws and court rulings in America, dealing with "construction contracts and forms", to determine the necessity for changes to any of our contracts and forms.
We employ two separate service companies; a legislative review service and a legal review service. Their job is to provide us with any new law or court ruling which mention "construction". This is quite a task.
As we gather and assemble this information it is then sent to each of our construction attorneys. If there is a concern, they determine the correct wording and where should it be placed.
Now, you see the expense involved and why we date and password protect all our construction software.
Single Forms
Those few forms we offer as singles, we do not make available for upgrade. The original price for each is so low, yet those are the forms which usually require so many legal changes. Therefore, any upgrade would need to be purchased again at the regular, low, retail price displayed on the Single Forms page.
